A pro-Biafra group, the Indigenous People of
Biafra (IPOB) movement, on Wednesday
announced that they would hold a rally in
Nigeria on Friday in support of Donald Trump,
which is the day of his inauguration as the 45th
president of the United States.
IPOB released a statement inviting people to
participate in a "peaceful solidarity rally for the
United States president-elect Donald J Trump,"
adding that they "welcome civil and pragmatic
democracy anywhere we find it". The statement
announced that the rally will take place in Port
Harcourt.
